Episode 13 of Otaku Elf will be released as a part of a second season. The next episode and season will begin by being about the Yumimimi festival. Koito must use everything she learned during practice sessions to perfect the Oyumi ritual.
The next episode will feature more of Koito and Koyuzu’s grandfather. He could help Koito perfect the ritual since he will not do it this year. We will learn what happens after he confronts Koito at the end of the twelfth episode.

After a few more practice sessions, Koito performs the Oyuki ritual but misses the first two shots. On her third attempt, she fires the arrow towards the sky.
Elda jumps off the boat she’s standing on and catches it with the target she’s holding, which hits right in the middle, much to everyone’s surprise. As a result, the parishioners provide a gourmet food stall. Elda has been dealing with one horrible scenario after another for the past few days.
Fearing she is cursed, she decides to cleanse herself by performing the Tsujiura ritual with Koito, but when Koyuzu asks what Elda would like for supper, she receives an “oracle.” Elda then requests a sea bream supper from Koyuzu, intending to use its cheeks as a lucky charm.
Koyuzu only had mackerel, but that was sufficient. Using fortune-telling slips, they put it to the test. Elda receives a good fortune slip after some encouragement from Koito and Koyuzu. They are, however, caught by Koito and Koyuzu’s grandfather.
4. About Otaku Elf
The Otaku Elf (Edomae Elf) manga by Akihiko Higuchi was launched in Kodansha’s Shounen Magazine Edge in 2019. As of June 2022, it has been collected into six volumes. An anime adaptation for the series is set to arrive in spring 2023.
In the Takamimi Shrine resides an immortal elf who loves games. So, when the new high priestess, Koito, enters the shrine, she realizes that Elda has no interest in blessing people and simply wants to play all day long. The series follows the duo as Koito tries her best to make Elda perform her duties.
