Osomatsu: New Episode Postponed Due to U.S.Women’s Open

The show known for its meta humour mainly focuses on the lives of the Matsuno sextuplets namely Osomatsu, Karamatsu, Choromatsu, Ichimatsu, Jyushimatsu, and Todomatsu.

Mr. Osomatsu is the follow-up of manga and anime series Osomatsu-kun, by Himitsu no Akko-chan creator and gag manga legend Fujio Akatsuka.

The official twitter handle of the anime, Mr Osomatsu announced that the episode scheduled to air today will be postponed due to the U.S. Women’s Open final round.

Season 3 Episode 10, titled “Zansu and Werewolf”, was set to air on December 15, 2020 but got postponed due to the final round of U.S. Women’s Open.

The final round of the U.S. Women’s Open will be taking place simultaneously at the anime’s scheduled time.

There hasn’t been any further announced on whether AT-X will air the episode on a later date.

Osomatsu kun is the manga series by Fujio Akatsuka, which later got adapted into an anime series in 1966. It is about the mischief caused by the sextuplets of the Matsuno family.

Mr. Osomatsu or Osomatsu-san is a reboot of the original series, which started airing in 2015.

The original manga by Fujio Akatsuka ran in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shōnen Sunday from 1962 to 1969. Early chapters of the manga were based around people becoming mixed-up with the sextuplet identities, due to the similarity of the characters.

The series so far has two anime series, a film, and a few stage plays.
