Aqua hugged Ruby after learning that her brother was the reincarnation of Doctor Gorou Amamiya. Sarina had been looking for Gorou Amamiya since she was resurrected as Ruby.
However, Aqua only recently acknowledged that Ruby was Sarina. Ruby showed how diligently she searched for Gorou. Soon after, Ruby discovered his body in the woods near the hospital. Ruby told Aqua how she used to have faith in him. But after he revealed their mother’s secret to the world, she felt betrayed and lost trust in everyone.
That’s when Aqua cut her off and told her he only did it for Ai’s retribution. Ruby was determined to locate her mother’s murderer after the episode with Aqua. When Aqua saw Ruby in this position, he told her she didn’t have to be like Ai.
Ruby then admitted that she has always felt on the inside like Sarina. However, because she wanted to be liked, she hid that aspect and lied, just like Ai did. Oshi no Ko is a supernatural crime-solving manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020 and received an anime adaptation in 2023.
The story follows a doctor, Goro, reincarnated as his favorite idol Ai’s kid. Ai names him Aquamarine and his twin sister, a reincarnation of a patient at the hospital, Ruby. Ai is later killed by a stalker who was also responsible for Goro’s death. As Aquamarine swears revenge on the stalker for his mother’s demise, Ruby follows the same path as her mother to become an idol.
