The chapter begins with a flashback to when Doctor Gorou Amamiya visited Sarina Tendouji in the hospital. Sarina questioned the doctor if he had ever gone to Shibuya or Harajuku during his stay. She’d heard Ai had been scouted in Shibuya and wanted to go there.

Gorou’s college was nearby, so he agreed to accompany her there when she felt better. He was optimistic that Sarina would be scouted. As a result, he wanted to ensure that she was only investigated by reputable agencies.

Sarina Tendouji, on the other hand, didn’t care because all she wanted was to wear cool outfits, sing beautiful songs, and have an encore.

In the present, Aqua saw Ruby sob as she leaned on her bed. She sobbed for the harm she had caused to those dear to her. Aqua attempted to assist her as she began to lose her breath. 

Ruby Hoshino went on a rant about how she became an idol to avenge the deaths of Ai and the doctor. Aqua instantly implored Ruby to stop because vengeance would only bring her grief.

Ruby could do so now that she was no longer in the hospital. As a result, Gorou did not want Sarina to throw her new life away in retaliation.

6. About Oshi no Ko

Oshi no Ko is a supernatural crime-solving manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020 and received an anime adaptation in 2023.

The story follows a doctor, Goro, reincarnated as his favorite idol Ai’s kid. Ai names him Aquamarine and his twin sister, a reincarnation of a patient at the hospital, Ruby. Ai is later killed by a stalker who was also responsible for Goro’s death. As Aquamarine swears revenge on the stalker for his mother’s demise, Ruby follows the same path as her mother to become an idol.
