Ruby stands in front of Sarina’s house. She reflected on how she would return to the location hoping to see her mother. However, she lacked the confidence to meet her mother and explain her true identity. Marina Tendouji then went out of the house.

As a result, they decided to split their relationship and meet on occasion. Marina found comfort apart from her daughter as their separation grew longer, even refusing to see her on her deathbed. 

Ruby couldn’t stop crying after finding that her mother had new children with whom she was content. She was persuaded that her absence had made her mother happier.

Crow Girl described the situation. Marina Tendouji previously loved and cared for her daughter Sarina. Her heart was crushed when her daughter became ill with a fatal disease. To improve his wife’s mental health, Sarina’s father separated his wife from their child and had Sarina admitted to a reputable hospital.

Sarina was left alone while her parents sought to avoid their melancholy by focusing on their job. Meanwhile, Sarina’s health deteriorated so she lost her balance, and her memory and perception suffered. Sarina tried to cope with her loneliness by watching Ai perform on television.

Around the same time, Sarina met Doctor Gorou Amamiya. She grew close to Gorou because he was the only person who came to see her. Her sickness, however, quickly worsened, and she died. Marina, her mother, did not even see her daughter on the day of her death. She only found out about her death after traveling from Tokyo. 

Marina soon after had two more children and lived happily. Ruby watched as her mother, Marina Tendouji, smiled happily with her two new children.

Ruby had never seen her mother so happy. As a result, she was sure that she had caused misfortune to those close to her, namely Marina, Ai, and Gorou. Ruby sobbed and begged God to explain her rebirth. Aqua happened to be nearby Ruby’s room and he listened to everything.

6. About Oshi no Ko

Oshi no Ko is a supernatural crime-solving manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020 and received an anime adaptation in 2023.

The story follows a doctor, Goro, reincarnated as his favorite idol Ai’s kid. Ai names him Aquamarine and his twin sister, a reincarnation of a patient at the hospital, Ruby. Ai is later killed by a stalker who was also responsible for Goro’s death. As Aquamarine swears revenge on the stalker for his mother’s demise, Ruby follows the same path as her mother to become an idol.
