In the 20 years that One Piece has been on air, it has brought out many movies including hits like One Piece: Film Z and One Piece: Gold. The most recent One Piece film, Stampede, was released on 1st August 2019.
On Wednesday, Funimation announced that it will stream One Piece: Stampede, which will be available starting Friday (23/05/2020) for a total of 60 days.
In addition to this, the announcement also mentioned that the English dub of One Piece will make a return starting June 2. Funimation will begin streaming episodes 575-587 (English dub) and continue production.
One Piece: Stampede sees Luffy and his crew journey to a massive Pirate Festival and we are shown a multitude of important characters including (but not limited to) Kid Pirates, Sabo, Kizaru, and Rob Lucci.
The main attraction of the Pirate Festival is a treasure hunt which features the ultimate prize — an Eternal Log Pose to the One Piece. In this heated treasure hunt, the main antagonist is revealed to be Douglas Bullet, a former member of Roger’s crew who went rogue.
For those who have not seen it yet, now is a perfect chance to watch this movie given the quarantine situation.

About One Piece
One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 22, 1997, and has been collected into 95 tankōbon volumes.
The man who had acquired everything in this world, the Pirate King, is Gol D. Roger. The final words he said at the execution tower were “My treasures? If you want it, I’ll let you have it. Look for it; I left all of it at that place.” These words sent many to the seas, chasing their dreams, headed toward the Grand Line, in search of One Piece. Thus began a new age!
Seeking to be the greatest pirate in the world, young Monkey D. Luffy also heads toward the Grand Line in search of One Piece. With his diverse crew joining him along the way, consisting of a swordsman, marksman, navigator, cook, doctor, archaeologist, and cyborg-shipwright, this will be one memorable adventure.
