Back in 2017, it was announced that a live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s One Piece manga was underway. Since then, fans did not receive much news about the live-action project, i.e., until January 2020.
Netflix announced that it would exclusively stream a Hollywood live-action series based on One Piece with Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer.
It seems like it’s finally happening. Netflix created a title for One Piece categorized under US TV Shows. The description of the recently added Netflix title makes it clear that this is indeed the project first mentioned in 2017.
The cast for One Piece’s live-action adaptation has not yet been released. However, it will be updated on our website as soon as it is out, so stay tuned!
