Episode 1044 Speculations

Robin will continue her fight against Black Maria in episode 1044, titled “Clutch! A Demon Incarnate, Robin!.”

It looks like their fight will get even more intense in the coming episode. Maria is not just attacking Robin physically but also verbally. She is causing both physical and mental pain.

Robin looks utterly defeated. It will take some outer motivation for her to keep on fighting. Luffy gets the amount of fruit he needs. He wants Momo to transform into a dragon. However, Momo will be crying before being of any use.

Episode 1043 Recap

Robin and Brook are running away. Maria’s illusion mist didn’t work on Robin. Maria shows up and begins chasing them. Brook doesn’t seem to be affected by the mist. Suddenly, he gets surrounded by mist.

Out of the mist comes Captain Yorky and his other former crewmates. They begin singing songs and enjoying themselves. They offer Brook to play the piano. Brook sits down and starts playing it.

He is reminded of his time with the Rumble Pirates and his little shark companion Laboon. Captain Yorky gets ready to attack Brook, but Brook vanishes and starts attacking the enemies, coming out of the illusion.

Black Maria attacks them with her strange weapon, burning the whole ground. Brook uses Soul Cold to freeze the weapon, then freezes the ground to extinguish the fire.

Black Maria tries to manipulate Robin by saying that Sanji called him so that he can get rid of her, as not even her crewmates want her around. Robin doesn’t heed all the nonsense and tells Brook to go ahead as she will handle Maria.

Robin uses Gigante Fleur and tries to trap Maria with her many arms. However, Maria frees herself and begins attacking Robin’s many arms. Their intense battle continues as the focus shifts to Momo and Shinobu.

Luffy is demanding meat. He has eaten up all of Heart Pirate’s stock and is still feeling hungry. Momo and Shinobu hear his voice and rush toward him. Momo tells Luffy about Kin’emon and Kiku.

Luffy tells him to stop crying and starts demanding meat again. The Beast Pirate Crew runs to find some meat. Caribou sees Luffy and thinks that he will be in trouble if Luffy dies.

He offers Heart pirates a lot of food. Luffy tells Momo to transform into a dragon and take him to the roof as he has to defeat Kaido.
