Luffy finally reached the top and started his fight with Kaido without any delay. Now all of them have gathered to fight against Queen and Kaido, and it’s time for roof piece now. Fans were super hyped for this episode, and it didn’t disappoint them.
However, the episode was mainly focused on the conversation between Yamato and Ace. We got to see Yamato’s desperation and determination in this episode. All the epic scenes and moments were elevated thanks to the superb animation.

Episode 1015 Recap
While talking with Yamato, Ace falls asleep. Yamato thinks that he died and gets worried. She says that if he is tired, they can call it a night, but he denies it, saying that he still has a lot to tell her, and begins talking again.
In the present time, Yamato shows Momo his father’s journal, where he has written all about his adventures and life experiences.
He has also written a lot about Momonosuke, who was born on Whitebeard’s ship. She tells him that the future Roger, Oden, and Whitebeard talked about twenty years ago was here.
She thought that Ace would be their leader, but she then remembers what ace told her about his brother Luffy, who wants to become the pirate king. In the flashback, Ace asks Yamato not to laugh at him when he tells her what his brother wants. He tells her that Luffy wants to become the king of pirates.
After hearing all this from Ace, Yamato sees something and starts crying. She tells Ace that she will not laugh at all and believes that Luffy will become the king of pirates. Oden also wrote about someone like that in his journal, and she thinks that Ace’s brother is the one he was talking about.
When Ace is about to leave, Yamato gives her a blank paper after tearing a piece from it as a promise to meet him again. She wanted to go out and help her friend but was trapped by her father. She can’t live freely.
She decides that she will wait for Luffy and will free Onigashima from its suffering. Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Killer, and Law have reached the roof by this time.
Kid and Killer are the first to show up, followed by Law and Zoro. As they get ready to fight Big Mom and Kaido, Luffy also shows up.
Luffy ignores them and first goes to Kin’emon and gets infuriated seeing his state of being. He then comes back and attacks Kaido with Gum Gum RedRoc and knocks him down on the floor, announcing that he is the man who will defeat them and become the king of pirates.
