The raid is getting intense, and battles erupt everywhere in episode 1009 of One Piece, titled “Sasaki’s Onslaught! Armored Division Vs. Yamato.” As Marco is about to get shot by Perospero, Carrot and Wanda interfere in the fight and save him.
Otama saves Nami and Usopp from the siblings, Pay-Pay and Ulti. They run for their lives from the siblings and are helped by Hihimaru, who attack Pay-Pay, giving them time to run away.
Yamato fiercely fights the Armored Division but is not able to reach Sasaki. He fires on Momonosuke again, which angers Yamato. She starts to transform but is interrupted by Franosuke, chased by Hacchain. This interruption helps her to run away with Momonosuke.

Episode 1010 Speculations
Luffy is still running towards the Akazaya members in the preview of episode 1010 titled, “ Eliminate the Ice Oni Chopper’s Fire Trick.”
Luffy might finally meet the Akazaya members in a battle with Kaido, taking one more step towards the final showdown between Luffy and Kaido.
It seems like Chopper finally got the solution to the ice oni problem and will probably head on to save everyone. Chopper, however, got infected by the virus and is slowly turning into an Ice Oni himself. Will he be able to do something before it’s too late?
The mystery around “ The People of the D” will be solved in the next episode. There are a lot of battles being fought all at the same time. So we can’t wholly trust the preview for what will happen in the next episode.
There still seems to be some time for the anime to reach the manga, but the current events are more than enough to keep the fans engaged.

Episode 1009 Recap
The episode starts with where the previous episode left the Marco and Big Mom fight. Perospero is about to shoot Marco as Big Mom grips him in her hands. Carrot and Wanda enter the scene. Carrot is infuriated seeing Perospero and starts to transform but controls herself.
She regrets Pedro’s death and is eager to take her revenge. She wants to use the Sulong transformation, but Wanda warns her that this transformation is a double-edged sword that they have to use against Kaido.
Wanda tells her that Pedro died for the sake of Luffy and others, for the dawn of a new age. He died without any regret.
Carrot cannot calm herself down because she wants to beat Perospero for Pedro’s sake; Wanda agrees to fight alongside her and finish him. They then transform and attack Perospero, who is about to shoot Marco.
They scratch his face and save Marco. Big Mom runs away in the meantime. Marco then goes after Big Mom, leaving Perospero to Carrot and Wanda.
On the other side, Otama saves Nami and Usopp from the siblings. Nami provokes them and runs away on the dog Otama brought with her.
Hihimaru appears suddenly and attacks Pay-Pay with a sword to give Otama some time to run away. Nami says that the gorilla won’t be able to stop them, but Otama tells her not to underestimate them as they are samurais.
Yamato is fighting the Armored Division and is able to eliminate a lot of them. There seems to be no end to them as she can’t even close the distance between her and Sasaki. Sasaki tells her that it is useless for her to fight them although she is strong.
Shinobu tells her to take Momo and run away, but she refuses. She claims that Kozuki Oden won’t run away like that, and she will do the same.
Sasaki attacks Momo with bombs again, and Yamato saves him in the nick of time. She is infuriated and starts to transform, but stops when she sees Franosuke and recognizes him as one of the Straw Hats.
Franosuke is chased by Hacchain. Hacchain smashes his weapon on the ground trying to hit Franosuke, which creates a hole in the ground. Yamoto plans to run away from there as she can see a floor beneath. She tells Franosuke that she is with Luffy and wants his help.
He agrees to help her although he doesn’t know who she is. Before leaving, Yamato fires a Narikabura Arrow, which knocks Haachi out. She then runs away with Momo, claiming that he is the dawn of a new age.
