One Piece Episode 1005: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Episode 1004 of One Piece, titled “An Inherited Technique! Unleashing Oden’s Secret Swordplay!” is the latest installment of the anime.

In this episode, the Akazaya nine inherit Oden’s Two-Sword Style technique and are able to slash through Kaido’s dragon form. Their combined strength gives them the courage to face Kaido and reminds them of their mission to avenge Oden’s death.

The difference in their powers is dramatic, and it’s clear that the Akazaya need more power to defeat Kaido. Will Luffy make it in time to bring down Kaido once and for all? Keep watching One Piece to find out.

Episode 1005 Speculation

In the next episode, we’ll find out whether or not the Akazaya nine could defeat Kaido. The chances of their victory are pretty low because there has to be a Kaido vs. Luffy battle and also because it’s evident that Oden was far more powerful than the Akazaya and still couldn’t beat Kaido.

We will also see Momonosuke and Shinobu finally warming up to Yamato after she saves them from King’s men. Luffy and Sanji are still on their way to Kaido and must defeat the beast pirates.

Episode 1005 Release Date

Episode 1005 of the One Piece anime has been released on Saturday, Jan 08, 2022. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

Yes, One Piece is on a break for two weeks and will continue as scheduled after the break. A special episode will air the following week, on December 25, where we will get a recap of everything that has happened in the Wano arc so far.

Episode 1004 Recap

After a fierce fight, Dogstorm and Cat Viper finally take down Jack. A head-on clash between the Akazaya and Kaido now begins.

Luffy and Sanji rush towards Kaido to help the Akazaya but are stopped by his subordinates. Queen continues to fire bullets, turning the samurai into frozen zombies who surround Zoro and Drake. King looks upon the chaos and remarks that the battle will end when the samurai lose all hope.

He then sends Bao Huang to locate Momonosuke, who escaped with Shinobu and is currently being pursued by Yamato. She still claims that she’s Oden and wants to protect the boy, but Shinobu is very suspicious of her and doesn’t let Momonosuke get closer to her.

We then cut to Kaido and the Akayaza nine charging towards each other. Kaido blows them away in one attack, but they regain composure and attack the dragon. All their strikes are in vain as Kaido manages to shove them off him and create a massive explosion.

The Akazaya haven’t been wiped out despite the fire. They get up again, and Kaido comments that they are only the remnants of Oden’s group. Kinemon holds on to his swords and reminisces about his group’s desperation to bring down Kaido.

He feels that even though he made it this far, he still has not accomplished anything yet. A flashback sequence begins where Oden is about to teach his Two-Sword Style to his men. Kinemon believes that he’s the one who shall inherit this technique.

He becomes emotional, and just as he declares that he is the one who is going to inherit Oden’s will, the other members interrupt him, stating that they are the ones who loved and respected Oden the most.

The group begins a friendly banter about who will inherit the Two-Sword Style but become silent once Momonosuke claims that he’s the true heir.

When Oden approaches them and proudly announces that he is going to pass down his unique technique, the others claim that they aren’t interested since they have their own unique styles.

This brings us back to the battlefield, where the others are just as fired up as Kinemon. Kaido says that they were just acting like great samurai under Oden’s wing, and now, even after his death, they’re still like kids playing samurai.

Kinemon retaliates by challenging Kaido to fight them. They launch their special techniques on Kaido and attack him from all sides. Kaido is surprised because they manage to cut him despite having no similarity with Oden’s Two-Sword Style.

After using Kaido’s own attack against him, they think they’ve finally brought him down, but Kaido gets up again. He mocks them again, but the Akazaya finally becomes serious about the fight this time.

They put their lives on the line, and we find out that they all have already inherited Oden’s Two-Sword Style. The episode ends as all their swords slash Kaido together.
