One Piece Chapter 976 Delayed – One Piece Manga On A Hiatus

With the end of Kozuki Oden’s flashback, One Piece’s story is back to the present timeline with the remainder of the Akazya Nine waiting at Port Tokage for the rebel alliance.

The chapter shows Luffy, Law & Kid joining the fight alongside the rebellion forces. However, before moving forward to Onigashima, Oda has decided to take a one-week hiatus.

One Piece chapter 975 raw scans were released recently. The ending page announced that One Piece will be on hiatus in the next issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump and will resume from April 4 with One Piece on the cover and color pages in chapter 976.

Chapter 975 starts with revealing that Hiyori used to trick old men’s lust into swindling money from them only because she wanted Denjiro to distribute that money as the Witching Hour boy.

Denjiro then asks her to keep blood bags in her clothes so that he may separate Orochi and Komurasaki with “death.” This explains how Denjiro tricked Orochi to believe that Komurasaki died.

This transitions to a chat between Kaido and Orochi in which Orochi receives a letter. This links back to the scene with Kanjuro coming to the future and having mysterious birds above his head. It is possible these birds were sent by Kanjuro to Orochi to inform him of the situation.

The talk between Kaido and Orochi gives us the backstory of the traitor to the Kozuki clan.

After the narrative jumps forward 20 years, a confrontation between the Akazaya Nine reveals that Kanjuro is the traitor as he is of the Kurozumi clan.

He did not wish to hurt any of them; all he did was supply information to Orochi. He then is revealed to be a clone, created by the real Kanjuro, who is onboard one of Kaido’s ship coming to demolish the last flame of the revolution.

This is when Luffy, Law, and Kidd make an epic entrance with each of their ships coming from inside the ocean.

About One Piece:

One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 22, 1997, and has been collected into 95 tankōbon volumes.

The man who had acquired everything in this world, the Pirate King, is Gol D. Roger. The final words he said at the execution tower were “My treasures? If you want it, I’ll let you have it. Look for it; I left all of it at that place.” These words sent many to the seas, chasing their dreams, headed toward the Grand Line, in search of One Piece. Thus began a new age!

Seeking to be the greatest pirate in the world, young Monkey D. Luffy also heads toward the Grand Line in search of One Piece. With his diverse crew joining him along the way, consisting of a swordsman, marksman, navigator, cook, doctor, archaeologist, and cyborg-shipwright, this will be one memorable adventure.
