I. Gunko vs. the Straw Hats

Gunko finally makes her move in Chapter 1146, and it’s just as intense as we hoped. She shows up out of nowhere on the Straw Hat ship, and her focus on Collun immediately puts everyone on edge. What starts as a surprise turns into a full-blown fight.

Jinbe, Nami, Usopp, and Brook step in to defend the ship. Usopp gets a rare moment to shine, landing a solid Pop Green shot that hits Gunko hard. For a moment, it looks like the tide might turn, but then Gunko regenerates, revealing a disturbing healing ability that might be tied to a Devil Fruit or something we haven’t seen before.

Before anyone can regroup, she manages to capture Collun and vanishes, leaving more questions than answers about what she’s really after.

II. Scopper Gaban Enters the Battle

While Gunko causes chaos, the other Holy Knights aren’t standing still. Saint Killingham is already locked in with the Walrus Academy teachers, while Saint Sommers faces off against Saul.

Scopper Gaban picks up on their movements and gets ready to act. His sharp observation skills catch the shift in the battle, and we get the feeling that he’s about to step up in some big way. Chapter 1146 sets the stage for him to finally go against the Holy Knights.

III. Loki’s Flashback Begins

Away from the front lines, the chapter shifts back to the underworld of Elbaf, where Loki and Luffy are still talking. Luffy, true to himself, keeps eating like nothing’s happening, adding a little lightheartedness to the moment. But then Loki starts opening up.

This is where things get really interesting. Hints from earlier chapters begin to fall into place as Loki starts talking about his past. We learn more about his connection to King Harald, his history with the Holy Knights, and, most exciting of all, his encounter with Rocks D. Xebec.

IV. Holy Knights Dominating

As the chapter comes to a close, it becomes clear that the Holy Knights are gaining the upper hand. Saint Killingham defeats the Walrus Academy teachers, and Saint Sommers takes down Saul. These back-to-back wins make one thing clear, this battle is far from over.

The Straw Hats are now scattered and under pressure, and with Collun gone and the Holy Knights moving quickly, the danger just keeps escalating.

Thankfully, there’s no break next week, so we won’t have to wait long to see what comes next as the Elbaf arc keeps pushing forward.

3. About One Piece

One Piece is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since July 22, 1997.

The man who had acquired everything in this world, the Pirate King, is Gol D. Roger. The final words he said at the execution tower were “My treasures? If you want it, I’ll let you have it. Look for it; I left all of it at that place.” These words sent many to the seas, chasing their dreams, headed toward the Grand Line, in search of One Piece. Thus began a new age!

Seeking to be the greatest pirate in the world, young Monkey D. Luffy also heads toward the Grand Line in search of One Piece. His diverse crew is joining him along the way, consisting of a swordsman, marksman, navigator, cook, doctor, archaeologist, and cyborg-shipwright, this will be one memorable adventure.
