Vegapunk finally appeared in chapter 1061 of One Piece, titled “Future Island Egghead.”
It has been a very long wait, but now we are here. Dr. Vegapunk, the most brilliant mind in all of One Piece, is finally here, and it’s someone no one would have thought of in their wildest dreams. An energetic, young, and beautiful girl.
Other than Vegapunk reveal, there was more that happened in this chapter. The Straw Hats had to deal with a terrifying giant shark before getting saved by a robot of Vegapunk. The Straw Hats are at Egghead, and it’s quite an interesting place, to begin with.

1. Chapter 1062 Raw Scans, Leaks
The initial spoilers for Chapter 1062 “Adventure in the Land of Science” have been leaked. The cover shows Chocolat Town in ice. Jewelry Bonney tells that her father, Bartholomew Kuma was made into a weapon by Vegapunk.
It is revealed that there are six different beings called Vegapunk who carry out Dr. Vegapunk’s other work as the latter keeps himself busy with research. CP0 agents come to kill Vegapunk and Seraphim Kuma is also with them.
2. Chapter 1062 Discussion
It’s time for the Straw Hats to spend some time on Egghead. Vegapunk is here, at last, so we can expect some more world mysteries to be explored and revealed.
Oda just keeps on surprising us with a new revelation in every chapter. No one expected to meet Dr. Vegapunk right now, but here we are. She doesn’t look like someone fond of pirates, so it will be interesting to see where they will go from here on.
I am excited to explore Egghead. A place 500 years in the future is a crazy rumor. I want to see what’s so different about the place for such claims. I can’t wait to see what the island holds deep inside, but unfortunately, we will have to be a little patient.

Luffy grabs Bonney and saves her, but she keeps telling everyone to look down. When they all do, they see a giant shark is about to engulf them. They escape, but Luffy and Chopper fall into the sea.
Jinbe goes to rescue them. Franky takes the ship away from the shark, but the shark aims and fires at them with a canon out of its mouth. Everyone falls down into the sea. The shark gets ready to attack them again underwater but is interrupted by a big robot.
At Naval Branch G-14, Tashigi is feeding medicine to some children from Punk Hazard when Vice Admiral Doll calls her out to talk. She tells Tashigi to deal with Helmeppo, who is demanding that they go and save Koby.
Commander Hibari and Lt. Commander Helmeppo are dying to go and save Koby. They urge Rear Admiral Prince Grus to accompany them to the Pirate Island, but Prince Grus refuses as they are helpless right now because they can’t even contact Drake.
Bonney, Luffy, Jinbe, and Chopper are taking a bath, and Bonney introduces herself to Luffy, who seems to have forgotten about her. She came there alone, but the shark ate her ship. Luffy and Chopper are feeling hungry, but Bonney tells them that there are no restaurants at the place they are right now.
She tells them that they are at Egghead, a place 500 years in the future. It is the place where Dr. Vegapunk’s laboratory is situated. A robot that fought the shark is holding the Straw Hats’ ship. Out of the robot comes a young lady mumbling about how there were some programming errors with the mega shark.
Frank thanks her for saving them, but she doesn’t accept his gratitude and claims that she is just a genius scientist working for the government. She introduces herself as Dr. Vegapunk.
