Igarashi, a pro golfer gets disqualified because of an incident. He steps away from the limelight and moves to Tokara Islands in the Kagoshima Prefecture. He comes across a naive girl Tonbo, who seems to have a natural talent for golf.
He realizes that the islands, known as Japan’s last unexplored wilderness, also have a homemade golf course. Tonbo can play every shot with her 3-iron, which amazes Igarashi but also fills him with doubt.
