Ohtagaki’s Diana & Artemis Manga to End on July 7

Mangas become our constant companions with their long stories. Following a series for such a long time attaches us emotionally to both the story and its characters.

Entering the final arc of a story is always bittersweet. It gives us closure, helping us come to terms with the end of a great tale. But at the same time, it gives us an impending sense of abandonment.

The final arc is crucial to a story; it can either spoil a well-built narrative or deliver a mind-blowing ending to the series you never expected. These last few chapters either make or break a manga.

Yasuo Ohtagaki revealed in this year’s 13th issue of Futabasha’s Manga Action magazine that Diana & Artemis would conclude in the magazine’s next issue on July 7, 2020.

The manga began serialization as a seinen sci-fi series back in December 2019 with the basic premise of the story revolving around “preserving peace on the moon.”

The title is a play on Roman goddess Diana and Greek goddess Artemis who are carefully absorbed within each other’s mythology.

The manga creator is well known for his famous ongoing work called “Gundam Thunderbolt” that is running actively with 15 volumes.
