Episode 8 titled “First Contact” starts with an old man approaching the gates of Ye Ran High School. All the noble vampires seem to be alerted sensing his presence while the man is denied entrance by M-21, Takio and Tao.
The man is introduced as Gejutel K. Landegre, the Clan Leader of Regis and Seira’s vampire clan. Gejutel informs Rai and Frankenstein about Raskreia’s plan to apprehend Raizel and take him back to Lukedonia.
Later, in a flashback Frankenstein has a face-off between some of the nobles of Lukedonia and ends up injured in a fight. We also find out how Raizel and Frankenstein had first met each other back in the past.

Episode 9 of the Noblesse anime has been released on Wednesday, Dec 02, 2020 at 6:00 am PDT. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

I. Is Noblesse On A Break This Weekend?
No, Noblesse is not on a break next week. Episode 9 will be released as scheduled.
2. Episode 9 Speculation
There is no preview for the 9th episode, but we hope to see some disclosure about the Nobles of Lukedonia.
Frankenstein seems to have had fallout with the Clan Leader Gejutel in the past. We might see some more of Rai and Frankenstein’s past interactions.
And hopefully see some new action in Regis, Seira and Raizel’s life as Vampires.
We might also find out about the Union’s plans to capture Raizel and locate his coffin.
3. Episode 8 Recap
The strange man approaching Ye Ran High School turns out to be Regis and Seira Clan Leader Gejutel K. Landegre.
Gejutel seems furious to know that the school is being run by Frankenstein and the security of the school is maintained by modified humans like M-21.
Regis and Seira greet him at the gates and then he is surprised to see Frankenstein there. Frankenstein takes him to his home and he observes the living quarters the nobles share with the modified humans.
Later, M-21, Takio and Tao learn about Gejutel being Regis’s grandfather while they talk about how Frankenstein and him knew each other.
Meanwhile, Gejutel has a chat with Raizel and informs him of Raskreia’s plan to take revenge on him. He informs that the noble’s country Lukedonia has had some major changes.
One being the previous Lord’s eternal sleep and the other being Raskreia (his daughter) taking up his role as the Lord.
Raskreia believes it was Raizel who drove her father to death and her being a young Lord only seeking revenge and the new clan leaders also being young has left a major hole in Lukedonia’s security.
He also tells the two about Regis and Seira’s actual mission and how they were asked to locate the coffin.
Gejutel asks Raizel to return to Lukedonia with him to prove his innocence to which Raizel replies by saying he must remain at the school a bit more.
Later, Frankenstein asks Gejutel to return to Lukedonia immediately when the former expresses his strong dislike for him. Gejutel believes Frankenstein to still be the madman who slaughtered many nobles back in Lukedonia.
The scene shifts to a flashback, where we find Frankenstein torturing some people from the Central Order of Knights. The knights refer to him as the Noble Hunter.
Later, Raizel is present at the court of the former Lord who requests him to live with the clan. Raizel refuses the offer and the Lord is informed of Noble Hunter’s whereabouts.
Frankenstein, the Noble Hunter is apprehended by many knights but he injures them all. He is then faced to fight clan leaders Gejutel and Ragar. Ragar and Frankenstein have a fierce fight showing off their immense powers, but Frankenstein gets away with a minor injury leaving bloody tracks on the ground.
The episode ends with Frankenstein returning to the mansion to find a relaxed Raizel staring at the moonlit window.

Noblesse is a South Korean Manhwa by the webtoon artist Son Jeho. The anime will be adapting the story of a powerful vampire noble thrown into modern civilization after 829 years of slumber.
In an attempt to protect Raizel, his servant Frankenstein enrolls him at Ye-Ran High School, where Raizel learns the human world’s simple routines via his classmates.
He is yet to become close to his new friends, but he has to go up against a secret organization to uncover the truth about his past.
