Noblesse Episode 2: Release Date, Predictions, Watch Online

Episode 1 has excellent pacing, which gets directly into the action with the Union.

The human experiments’ drastically tense situation is balanced with a completely normal slice-of-life vibe of Raizel getting confused by smartphones.

M-21 joins Raizel’s high school, not as a student but as their security guard, who cringes at being called old. Meanwhile, DA-5 and the special forces team are dispatched to Japan for a mission. Is it Raizel or M-21 on their radar?

Will this trio of supernatural get to have a peaceful life?

1. Episode 2 Release Date

Episode 2 of the Noblesse anime has been released on Wednesday, Oct 14, 2020 at 6:00 am PDT. The episode title or preview has not been shown.

The anime will be streamed by Crunchyroll a day before its Japanese release.

2. Episode 2 Speculation

The episode ends with M-21 promising to protect the students and live a normal life, which already raises many red flags.

We can theorize that Kranz and his group are looking for Raizel’s coffin, and it has some interesting connections with the Union.

M-21 being with Raizel, provides an ally and an informant who knows things that the ancient being won’t know.

Fans would also love to see Raizel’s friendship with Tashiro and Manabe grow. After learning how to use a phone, the next step is playing games and sleepovers! We wonder how Frankenstein would react to that.

There’s also the Infected that attacked the students and is kept in the hospital. Maybe this is the new mission of Kranz, they seem to be mildly interested in the failed experiments too.

The after-credits scenes showed two vampires, who were possibly attracted to the city due to Raizel’s aura. We have no idea what a Noblesse entails in this world, and how Raizel is important to them.

Why does he have so much power, despite being asleep for centuries?

3. Episode 1 Recap

I. The New Security Guard

Episode 1 of Noblesse, as expected, continued from the events of Noblesse: Awakening. The episode starts with an unnamed soldier trying to tell the base that he is the sole survivor of his unit, unfortunately, he gets killed by Kranz.

From inside a room, Tao directs Hammer, Shark, and Takeo to locate the target, but finds out that he isn’t there. They all take out the remaining soldiers and the escaping researchers when Kranz states that their new mission is in Japan.

In Japan, we see Tashiro, whose hand is in a cast, and Manabu walking towards school and meet M-21, the new security guard of the school. M-21 is surprised to see them, but he realizes that their memories were modified after questioning them.

It is revealed in a flashback that M-21 was captured by Raizel and Frankenstein. He tells them all the information regarding the Union, the human experiments, and Jake and Mari.

He regrets being the only survivor but Frankenstein allows him to stay with them and offers him a job at school.

II. The New Protector

We see Raizel getting used to his new life as he joins the kids in drawing characters on Tashiro’s cast.

He is still not used to the modern world, getting intrigued by a smartphone, which he comments as ‘Something that the newer generation of children have but I lack.’

The next day, a gang arrives on the school grounds causing trouble to the students and the janitor. M-21 notices but doesn’t rush out to help, as he is supposed to stay undercover.

Instead, Tashiro jumps and fights with the bully, as it was partially his fault they came. It is explained that he caught the bully’s girlfriend when she tripped, but there was a misunderstanding.

Sensing Raizel behind him, M-21 interrupts and rescues Tashiro. He singlehandedly beats everyone up and later that night apologizes to Frankenstein. Frankenstein just makes him promise to restrain himself in the future.

M-21 then says that he sore to M-24 that he would live an ordinary, normal life, and he wishes to follow that. Meanwhile, the DA-5 group has already arrived in Japan investigating Mari and Jake’s deaths.

In the after-credit scenes, we see two unnamed vampires looking out across the city.

In an attempt to protect Raizel, his servant Frankenstein enrolls him at Ye-Ran High School, where Raizel learns the human world’s simple routines via his classmates.

He is yet to become close to his new friends, but he has to go up against a secret organization to uncover the truth about his past.
