Star Wars fans, buckle up for a special Sith ride with Palpatine. Lucasfilm has officially announced the release of a new canon Star Wars book titled Secrets of the Sith, which will uncover the story behind the Sith. Narrated by Palpatine, the book will be a guide detailing everything from the origins of the Sith Lords to their powers and abilities.
The Star Wars saga may have come to an end, but it hasn’t kept fans away from hoping that the future of the franchise might not be dead. With 2019’s The Rise of Skywalker, the trilogy was brought to a close with no news about any upcoming ventures as of yet. Now it seems that with the unveiling of this new book, which was a well-kept secret till now, Star Wars enthusiasts are in for a treat.
The brand-new book will also lay bare the history behind some of the most famous Sith Lords as well, including Darth Maul, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren. The book, written by Marc Sumerak and illustrated by Sergio Gómez Silván, is scheduled to be released on August 3, 2021.
Star Wars, which has been around for over four decades now, has continued to attract fans with the Jedi and Sith factions that possess immeasurable powers. Keeping in line with the audience’s interests, Lucasfilm has been generous to cater to the masses’ wants.
Previously in 2019, the studio published Secrets of the Jedi, a similar in-guide book for all things Jedi. Written by Luke Skywalker, the book detailed the origins and everything in between the Force’s light side. This led many to wonder that perhaps a Sith version could be in the works as well.
Many have deemed it will be interesting to read the book from an insider’s perspective, especially after The Rise of Skywalker revealed a Sith redoubt on Exegol, which brought many transformations to the Sith legends.
Secrets of the Sith is set to not only throw light on the mysteries behind the Sith legends, but also give us a peek at some of the most unforgettable characters to reign over the fandom.
