New PV for ‘Sacrificial Princess’ Second Cour Previews Opening Song

The ‘Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts’ anime has all the makings of a Spring 2023 hidden treasure. Based on the Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts manga by Yu Tomofuji, this shoujo fantasy romance tells the story of Sari.

A young girl raised to be a sacrificial meal for the Beast King but who ends up taking a different path when the king chooses not to eat her. The first part of the anime aired 10 episodes, and if you’re a fan of the series, then we have some exciting news for you.

The official website for the television anime of Yu Tomofuji’s ‘Sacrificial Princess & the King of Beasts’ manga posted the fourth promotional video for the anime on Tuesday. The video reveals two new cast members and previews the new opening and ending theme songs for the anime’s second cours (quarter of a year).

The artist Katagiri performs the closing theme song “call your name,” as seen in the video above, while vocalist Hinano delivers the opening theme song “LOVE INFINITY.”

‘Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts’ is a promising shoujo fantasy romance anime that takes a fresh look at an old story. If the series maintains its outstanding quality, it might become an underrated gem in Spring 2023.

About Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts

Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts (Niehime to Kemono no Ō) is a manga series by Yu Tomofuji. The manga started serialization in the Hana to Yume magazine in 2015 and ended in 2020. An anime adaptation will be released in April 2023.

A spinoff series, titled “The White Rabbit and the Beast Prince” has also begun its serialization since August 2022.

The series shows a young girl who is sent to the king of beasts as a sacrifice. Instead of killing her, the king is taken by her and keeps her as a consort.
