Since childhood, we have seen superheroes as very charismatic, confident, and extroverted beings, but what if there is one superhero who is very shy behind her mask? It’s unbelievable, but you will be amazed when you guys meet Teru “Shy” Momijiyama from the manga series ‘Shy.’
The story of ‘SHY’ follows teenage heroine Teru “Shy” Momijiyama, Japan’s representative in the world of heroes. When a mysterious threat called Amalareiks emerges, Shy works with her fellow heroes to stop them at all costs.
The official website for the anime adaptation of Bukimi Miki’s ‘SHY’ manga revealed on Thursday that the anime will premiere in October on TV Tokyo. The website also revealed a new key visual, a main promotional video, the opening theme song artist, more cast members, and more staff.
The new promo video for the upcoming series gives us a general idea of our protagonist’s story and the threat she would face as she overcame her shyness. Also, MindaRyn is performing the opening theme song, “Shiny Girl.”
The new key visual shows the characters around whom the story will revolve and who will assist Shy in fighting adversaries she cannot take down alone. The new additional cast members that were in the PV include:

About SHY
SHY is a superhero manga series written and illustrated by Bukimi Miki. The series has been serialized in Akita Shoten’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine since August 2019.
The story is set in a world where superheroes are real and possess ‘Heart Power’ which gets stronger depending on the hero’s resolve. Teru Momijiyama is an awkward and introverted superhero called SHY and has flame powers. A group of superheroes from each country is created in order to fight against the villainous organization Amalareiks. Being a part of the group, Teru has to get rid of her shyness to protect the world.
