New Pokemon Anime Will Introduce Gigantamax Evolution With Snorlax

This has been a big year for Pokémon, from the end of Pokémon Sun & Moon to a reboot of the series in its most recent Pocket Monsters anime.

There’s been a lot of buzz around the newest generation of Pokémon. Latest in the long line of revelations coming towards us is a sneak peek into Snorlax’s new form: Gigantamax Snorlax.

@serbiinet tweeted out a still from an upcoming episode of Pokémon that shows the first look at Gigantamax Snorlax. The episode is set to release on December 15, so be sure to tune in!

The Pokémon is sleeping next to a railroad, blocking the path, and has a huge forest on his stomach.

Pokémon released their new game, Pokémon Sword & Shield, and a whole new generation of Pokémon is being released on the games, as well as the TV series.

Snorlax will make his debut in the series during Ash and Gou’s journey to Galar, the new region in the Pokémon universe. The picture shows his size to scale, and looks like he is blocking the path of the railroad. He has apparently injured or knocked over 2 humans, which are yet to be identified. The Snorlax has a forest growing on his belly which brings up the question: does the forest shrink when Snorlax shrinks?
