But, of course, this will be a brand new series that will be nothing like Area no Kishi, but can you blame me for seeking some of that familiar warmth? This upcoming manga series is going to face some serious comparison, and I’m up to observe its rise to fame.

After two months of waiting, Kaya Tsukiyama has finally announced that his next work will be a football manga. And what’s more, this new manga will begin serialization around the end of summer.

That just leaves us with maybe a month or two of waiting at the most, and it has me brimming with barely suppressed excitement!

In May, a recruitment notice was posted for a new manga serialization headed by Kaya Tsukiyama. The recruitment must have been a success because the manga is now on its way to serialization.

Many fans speculated that a sports manga is Tsukiyama’s target and all the guesses were right on the money!

With both Tsukiyama and an assistant working on it, we can expect the manga to be detailed with panels that will adequately illustrate complicated moves that are involved with sports manga.

Are we soon going to get another awesome soccer manga? With Kaya Tsukiyama on the line, we might as well prepare for a blast with this series!
