A new The Dragon Prince season 5 clip reveals King Ezran’s mysterious mission. The hit Netflix fantasy show follows the conflict between the magical land of Xadia and the human realms after the Dragon King’s death and the Dragon Prince’s egg theft.
The Dragon Prince season 3 featured a deceased Viren returning to life thanks to his daughter Claudia, and the sorcerer now wants to free the wicked Startouch Elf Aaravos. This is catastrophic for the realm as it could unleash a new age of terror and tyranny.
The clip shows Ezran, Soren, Corvus, Zym, and Dragon Queen Zubeia on a mysterious mission.
Zubeia flies them through a fierce storm, landing at a building hidden among rocks on the sea’s edge. Ezran uses a strange shining crystal to turn on the powerful beacon, hoping to get the help of a possible friend. Watch the clip here:
Season 4 ends with Ezran, Callum, Rayla, and Soren almost getting the map to Aaravos in Rex Igneous’ hideout.
However, before the Katolis heroes can grab it, Claudia shows up in time to take it for her dad. The villains quickly vanish from view as they head to Aaravos, but not without leaving cursed coins for Rayla with her parents inside.
This mysterious clip leaves us with several unanswered questions to brainstorm about.
Who is the mysterious ally that Ezran and his friends are trying to summon? We don’t know yet, but it could be another dragon. After all, Zubeia is there, and the device shoots a tremendously powerful beam of sky magic.
The seashell-shaped structure is surely a clue, and it matches with the sea dragon that we saw in a poster for Dragon Prince season 5. Could this be the one who will help them cross the perilous ocean in Book 5: Ocean?
Where are Rayla and Callum in the clip? It seems like they have a different mission to help stop Claudia and Viren. However, Rayla must also save her parents from Viren’s wicked coins.
Can she do it? Will she risk everything for it? The Dragon Prince season 5 will test Rayla’s loyalty and love like never before.
