The Christmas party has ended, but Shinozaki and Katase’s relationship is only growing stronger. They finally exchange contact information which will likely become a constant texting habit.

The next episode will start with Shinozaki in his bear outfit since only Katase was shown at the end of this. The two will send each other pictures and likely freak out about how cute it looks. Moreover, Hayakawa’s relationship with the manager is steadily developing.

3. Recap of Episode 5

The months pass quickly, and Katase starts planning her Christmas party. On the way back from a client’s meeting, they spot some cute loungewear for the two of them. Their window shopping is interrupted by a news reporter searching for couples.

Katase agrees to pretend that they’re both dating but starts freaking out once the interview begins. She starts asking about their first kiss and to use her imagination if needed. Shinozaki needs to keep up and put himself in a mindset of a playboy.

The interviewer asks to end the interview with a kiss, and Katase covers it behind her pouch and fakes it. The video becomes viral, and everybody in the office sees it on their feed, making it very awkward the next day at work.

The Christmas party happens the following night, and everyone in the office drinks and has fun. After the party, Shinozaki and Katase walk around town together and check out the sights. They slowly begin realizing that this seems like a date.

Before returning home, Katase takes out the loungewear from the previous day, which she got as a gift. Shinozaki also had the same idea for a gift, and they discussed showing each other the outfit over the phone.

She goes home and immediately tries it on and feels very cute in it. However, Katase can’t get her mind off Shinozaki and what he would think after seeing it.

My Tiny Senpai is a Summer 2023 anime by Studio project No.9. It is inspired by a manga series by the same name that is authored and illustrated by Saisō. The anime was first announced in Fall 2022 and premiered in July 2023.

Shinozaki, an office worker, has just received a new job offer, but work turns out to be very tough. He struggles at his workplace until a very strict yet cute senpai takes him under her wing. Katase knows the ins and outs of the job, but Shinozaki hopes that his senpai will pay him more attention outside of work matters too.
