On January 12, the official website for My One-Hit Kill Sister, the anime adaptation of Konoe’s Isekai One Turn Kill Nee-san: Ane Dohan no Isekai Sekatsu Hajimemashita (One Turn Kill Sister in Another World: I Started Living in Another World with My Older Sister) light novels released a new teaser trailer for the anime.
The trailer previews the anime’s opening theme song “Karei One Turn“, which is performed by TrySail.
The anime is set to premiere sometime in 2023 and will be streamed on Crunchyroll as it airs.
The anime stars Yuki Sakakihara as Asahi Ikusaba, Haruka Shiraishi as Maya Ikusaba, Ami Koshimizu as Kilmaria, Rio Tsuchiya as Tanya, Azumi Waki as Sophie, Sora Tokui as Gloria, Konomi Kohara as Kuon, Yūma Uchida as Siegfried.
Hiroaki Takagi directs the anime at Gekkou, with Yohei Kahii in charge of the series scripts. Yuki Hamada will serve as the character designer, and Maho Tanabe will be in charge of sub-character design. Kenichi Kurata has been credited as the art director.
The novel’s plot follows Asahi Ikusaba, a high-school student who gets lost and ends up in another world. He has knowledge of video games and fantasy worlds but is weak and has no “cheat abilities.” He finds his older sister Maya in the same world; she has the strongest cheating ability and seems to have some issues with her brother.
Konoe originally launched the light novels on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in December 2019. He then launched a manga adaptation alongside Kenji Taguchi on Shogakukan‘s Sunday Webry website and in the Sunday GX magazine in March 2020.
