New PV for ‘My Next Life as a Villainess’ Film Reveals December Debut

The popular isekai comedy series ‘My Next Life as a Villainess’ follows the adventures of a high school girl who finds herself reincarnated as Katarina, the villainess of a game she used to play.

Katarina navigates her way around “doom flags” that could lead to her exile or death in her quest for a happy ending. The TV anime series aired its first season in 2020 and the second in 2021, with the movie announcement coming in 2023.

The official website for the film adaptation of Satoru Yamaguchi and Nami Hidaka’s ‘My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!’ light novels disclosed on Saturday that the film would be released in Japan on December 8. A teaser trailer is also available on the website.

The film offers a new story written by the original author, Satoru Yamaguchi. Katarina will face new individuals and situations after evading multiple “doom flags” in this episode. In addition, the film will have the same cast as the TV show.
