Mameda learns he is like a master to her own and is entranced by his rakugo. Rakuda arrives, and his men capture Byakudanji so that he can pay his debts. Mameda tries to stop him, but Rakuda tells her he will not release him unless she can somehow pay all he owes.

Mameda declares that she will pay it off, only to get yelled at by Bunko. A woman comes to collect her debt, and Bunko and Mameda pretend as if Bunko is sick and they are starving. This guilts the woman into leaving.

They continue to trick the next ones coming. Mameda tells Bunko that even though they are deceiving them, they will still arrest him and make Shirara upset, especially since she is making a meal for him.

Rakuda sends Byakudanji away on a ship. Mameda approaches him, but he tells her it is too late, but Byakudanji somehow escapes. Bunko tells Rakuda to let him go. She tells him that there are four big headliners, known as the Four Heavenly Kings and that Byakudanji is one of them.

She tells him that having a revival show will earn more money than arresting him and sending him to a labor camp. They proceed with this idea, and the theatre sells out.

Byakudanji prepares for the show and tells Mameda that Bunko has changed a lot and used to be very introverted when she was young but has changed because of her.
