In the sixth episode of My Home Hero, Tetsuo and Kasen’s plan to launch a fake video of Nobuto fails, causing a suspicious Kyoichi to visit Tetsuo’s home and search the pot that concealed Nobuto’s remains.
While Kasen could prevent Kyoichi from finding one of Nobuto’s hairs, she and Tetsuo find themselves in trouble again after Kyoichi confronts Reika about Nobuto going missing and how she feels about it. Here are the latest updates.
1. Episode 7 Speculation:
The next episode, “Mother and Mother,” will reveal what Reika will say after Kyoichi asks her about Nobuto. Her response may or may not give her parents away, which brings tension since we don’t know if Reika has the same awareness or quick thinking as her parents. Regardless of her response, Kyoichi won’t stop nagging the family.
The episode title and preview also mention a “Mother” and an elderly woman sitting with Kasen, meaning Reika’s grandmother could appear in the next episode. What Tetsuo finds using the keylogger will also be shown.

3. Episode 6 Recap
When Tetsuo thinks of Nobuto and his attachment to Hibiki and his father, he feels guilty, and questions whether killing him was the right choice. Kasen deduces that “Cap” could be the short form for “Captain,” and Tetsuo can log in to his private account using this information.
The video of Tabata impersonating Nobuto is released with a comment from Nobuto’s account, grabbing the gang’s attention as they determine if it is fake. Kasen can listen to the meeting after Tetsuo attaches wireless earphones underneath his hat in case Kyoichi needs to be eliminated.
Another gang member reveals crucial information about laptops within the organization to Tetsuo, angering Kyoichi as he doesn’t trust him. Soon after, the organization discovers the video is fake, and Kyoichi grabs Tetsuo and demands him to bring him to his home.
Kyoichi asks Tetsuo to ask his family members to leave. Kyoichi, suspecting the pot where Nobuto’s remains were kept, turns it over to find only soil. Tetsuo’s relief is short-lived when he finds a strand of blonde hair and decides to kill Kyoichi with a kitchen knife before he sees it.
Kasen arrives just in time and offers coffee to Tetsuo and Kyoichi. Kyoichi bluntly tells Kasen he is from the organization and the one that caused Tetsuo’s injury. Kasen gets into a verbal fight with Kyoichi, but Kyoichi rushes to the bathroom after learning that Kasen put laxatives in the coffee.
Unfortunately, Kasen also placed laxatives in Tetsuo’s coffee to not look suspicious and blamed it on the expired milk. After a long struggle, Tetsuo sets up a keylogger and defecates in the backyard due to Kyoichi already being in the bathroom.
Reika arrives and sees Tetsuo in the backyard but leaves without saying a word. Kyoichi greets Reika and asks how she feels about Nobuto going missing, creating tension.
4. About My Home Hero
My Home Hero is a manga series by Naoki Yamakawa and Masashi Asaki. It was first launched in May 2017 in the Weekly Young Magazine.
The series revolves around Tetsuo, a 47-year-old man who has never committed any crime. He has a tsundere daughter, Reika, who he loves a lot.
After Reika moves out, Tetsuo realizes that she is in an abusive relationship, and her boyfriend plans to kill her. In that instant, he decides to go against his peaceful nature to do anything to protect his family.
