In last week’s episode, the trio escape from Monarch’s custody in Alaska, where they encounter a new ice Titan unknown to the organization.
The episode ends with the trio’s adventure in San Fransisco, the site of Godzilla’s legendary battle with the MUTOs. They hope to find Hiroshi’s office and seek something to propel their search.

1. Episode 6 Synopsis/Speculation
Lee Shaw: The Man with a Thousand Secrets
Lee Shaw is an ex-Monarch officer who went rogue after a disastrous Titan mission. Thereafter, he started ageing prematurely due to a mysterious condition and was on the run from the organization.
In last week’s episode, Shaw is captured and interrogated by Verdugo. He spills the beans on his vendetta against Hiroshi Randa, whom he blames for his condition and his wife’s death.
I believe Shaw will find an unlikely ally in the next episode who will help him escape. Will it be Tim, the monarch officer, who caught Shaw in the first place? It might also be someone completely new – someone with a hidden connection (or vendetta) with the Shaw family!
The trio discovers a new clue that leads them to Africa
In last week’s episode, Cate, Kentaro and May arrive in San Fransisco and turn Hiroshi’s office upside-down for clues. Their dedication finally pays off as they discover a map of Africa with several locations marked with obscure symbols.
Furthermore, they find a letter from Hiroshi where he explains the situations that coerced him to go to Africa to seek the Titans. He also warns them not to follow him.
In episode 6, the trio will surely ignore their father’s incessant warnings and visit Africa. However, Africa is the home of some of the most lethal Titans in the world. What secrets will they uncover? Will they even live to tell the tale?
I think Africa has a secret portal that leads to the Middle Earth, like the one on Skull Island or the South Pole. Finally, will they reunite with their father, or will they discover that he is not who they thought he was?

In last week’s episode, Verdugo is frustrated with Shaw because he’s kept Kentaro, Cate and May in the dark about Hiroshi’s escapades in Africa.
In San Fransisco, Cate convinces her mother to smuggle them to Hiroshi’s office in the restricted zone of the city. In the office, they discover hidden maps of Africa and infer that Hiroshi might be on that continent in search of Titans.
Elsewhere, in 2014, Cate decides to abandon Dani and take a group of kids on a bus trip over the Golden Gate Bridge. However, her escape plan turns into a nightmare when Godzilla smashes the bridge and sends many children to their doom while the military tries to stop the monster in vain.
