Modern Warfare 3 Leaks Reveal References to Modern Warfare 2

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is reportedly in production and there’s already a long list of rumors surrounding the upcoming title. According to these reports, the game looks very similar to its 2022 predecessor. However, only time will tell whether or not this stands true.

While earlier rumors suggested that Modern Warfare 3 would be a comprehensive DLC expansion for Modern Warfare 2, the latest reports confirm that it will be a full-fledged, standalone title. The upcoming Call of Duty game will feature the Ninja Perk, War Mode, and a revamped Perk system among other features.

Players can expect special effects associated with specific clothing and gear like helmets, gloves, and more. The most significant change to the core gameplay is that enemy combatants will be spotted as red dots on the in-game minimap. This has been requested by the Call of Duty community in Modern Warfare 2 for a long time.

A DMCA request recently confirmed the title of the upcoming Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. Additionally, some rumors claim that the operators, weapons and most purchased cosmetic bundles from Modern Warfare 2 will automatically transfer to Modern Warfare 3.
