Suletta proves how skilled she is when she wins against Guel in an epic duel in the third episode of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. Now that she has won the duel, she will no longer have to be expelled, and her status as Miorine’s groom is reinstated.

Episode 3 Recap
Suletta has been freed from custody in time for the rematch against Guel. He will be using the more sophisticated Darilbalde mobile suit with AI. When Vim refuses to assist Prospera, she threatens to divulge his assassination scheme against Delling. She is also revealed to be Suletta’s mother.
Sarius Zenelli, in the meantime, develops mistrust for Prospera and instructs his son Shaddiq to look into Suletta. At the time of the rematch, Elan officializes the duel between Suletta and Guel as they prepare to face each other.
Suletta tells Guel about her mother’s belief about ‘gaining one when you run away but gaining two when you move forward,’ but he walks away.
They start the duel, but Guel discovers that the onboard AI has taken control of his Darilbalde and is making all the piloting decisions for him, which upsets him.
The fire suppression systems in the arena are activated, causing water to fall onto the battleground. This reduces the effectiveness of Aerial’s beam weapons and puts Suletta at a disadvantage.
When Miorine discovers that Vim has compromised the fire suppression system, Elan tells her that the duel does not have to be necessarily fair for both sides. So, she takes control of a mobile frame, confronts two students behind it, and deactivates it.
Suletta starts driving the Darilbalde back once her weapons are back in order. Guel regains control of the Darilbalde to prove he can win of his own accord, despite his father’s orders, and tries to counterattack.
However, Suletta wins. Suletta tells him she underestimated him and respects him. However, she is shocked when he drops down to his knees and asks her to marry him.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury (Kidō Senshi Gundam: Suisei no Majo) is an upcoming mecha anime series and the fifteenth mainline entry in Sunrise’s long-running Gundam franchise, succeeding Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans. It will premiere in October 2022.
