Mob Psycho 100 III Episode 9 Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Mob, Tome, and the others meet aliens in episode 8 of Mob Psycho 100 season 9, titled “Communicating 2~Close Encounters of the Third Kind~.”

It was rather unexpected that they would actually get to meet some aliens. Other than that, it was probably the most wholesome Mob Psycho episode to date. It was relaxing and heart-touching.

Thanks to Mob, Takenaka, and the club members’ belief, Tome’s dream of seeing aliens was finally fulfilled. The animation style was way smoother and different from the usual episodes, adding to the fun.

Episode 9 Speculations

Mob will propose Tsubomi in episode 9 of Mob Psycho 100 season 3 titled “Mob 1~Moving~”.

The next episode is something fans were dying to see animated. It will be very interesting to see what happens when everyone’s heartthrob Tsubomi gets transferred to another school.

Everyone has lined up to propose to her, but who will she really choose as her boyfriend? We all wish it were Mob, but we don’t know when a heartbreaking twist may happen. Let’s have our fingers crossed.

Episode 8 Recap

The team of researchers reached Mt. Mud Boat. They miss the hiking trail. Mob doesn’t feel well inside the car, so everyone gets out and starts walking up to the trail.

On the way there, they get lost. They manage to find a stairway up to the mountain, but Tome gets irritated at their attempt to do something for the club now when it is too late.

She still moves ahead with them. After a long journey up the mountain, it is now time for sunset. Tome is satisfied with the journey and doesn’t want to do the summoning as Inugawa forgot the book in the car.

However, the club members think that Tome knows all the spells to summon aliens. She doesn’t. Tanekana arranges some stones in a certain order and starts chanting something.

He got a little serious about researching the summoning and was up all night. That’s why he was late. Takenaka reads Tome’s thoughts and discovers that she blames herself for forcing her delusions on them.

They deny all that and say that they all have gone there because they wanted to. Everyone (except Reigen) starts chanting. Reigen asks Takenaka about the credibility of what they are doing.

Takenaka reveals that the writer of the book they are following was arrested two years ago because of fraud, and none of his research has any proof. Reigen tells them not to feel bad and that whatever they have done until now is impressive.

Mob still wants to try it out, as UFO sightings have happened before. Everyone joins hands, and Mob sends telepathic signals. After almost draining himself, there is still no result.

Tome is still happy that they tried. Suddenly, a bright light flashes behind her, and aliens appear. She gets overwhelmed. Three aliens come down, and one of them extends their hand towards Tome.

They shake hands and invite everyone to their spaceship. Everyone is surprised to see the aliens being so friendly. Tome feels awkward talking with them, but Inugawa starts playing games with them.

Everyone enjoys their time with the aliens and when it is time to head back. The aliens and humans exchange some gifts. Everyone comes down, but Inugawa gets left behind on the spaceship and gets carried away by the aliens.

During the outro, Inugawa describes his journey on the alien planet and how he returned from there.
