Mitsuru Adachi’s Touch holds a special place in the hearts of all baseball lovers. Naturally, its sequel, Mix, is bound to have a lot of pressure on it, but the good thing is it delivered a story just as epic as its predecessor.
This resulted in the sequel series garnering a lot of fame and attention and becoming beloved by veteran and newbie fans alike. It went on to receive an anime adaptation in 2019, delivering some unforgettable episodes, and is now back for another inning.
Mix: Meisei Story anime has announced its return in Spring 2023 with a second season.
Along with this, the franchise has also revealed information regarding the anime’s main cast and staff. The cast lineup is as follows:

Besides the director, all other staff members are returning to make this season a hit too.
Since Crunchyroll and Funimation streamed the anime’s first season on their platforms, they’re likely to release this one too. However, the franchise is yet to reveal the release date and more information regarding the new season.
Moreover, I’m excited to see what else the anime has in store for us other than the unbeatable and flawless baseball games.
About Mix: Meisei Story
Mix is a baseball-themed manga series written and illustrated by Mitsuru Adachi. It is a sequel to the 1981 manga Touch and has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Monthly Shōnen Sunday magazine since May 2012. It received an anime adaptation by OLM in April 2019.
It is set thirty years after Touch and features the step-brothers Touma and Souichirou Tachibana as the protagonists. The brothers are Meisei’s new hope to reach Kōshien while they learn of Meisei’s sports heritage and their fathers’ past.
