Nanao seizes Futaba and Shinzo successfully, and they are rescued. Kyoichiro asks everyone to evacuate immediately. Taiyo is on his way to evacuate, but he turns around to look at Kengo, frozen in the water, seemingly brainwashed.
Kengo calls out to “Mom.” If they had been alive, Taiyo then gets trapped in a trance with his family if they had lived. He initially struggles to get back into the present moment. He realizes he has forgotten something, the trance shatters, and he eventually snaps out of it because of the Profuse blooming.
He and Kengo are pulled towards the ship by force. The ship has a giant cherry blossom tree emerging from it, which grabs all the Yozakura family members and Taiyo. He sees that Mutsumi has been brainwashed and tries to rescue her but fails. He then discovers that Momo has brainwashed everyone in the Yozakura family.
He is stunned at Momo’s abilities. Taiyo knows he is the only one who can save them, and Momo invites him to sit with them, telling him Kyoichiro is on his way, who has not been brainwashed yet.
The Yozakura family sits together for dinner with Momo at the head of the table, overlooking his family, who has gotten under control, and says, “Welcome Home.” He tells a furious Taiyo to join them.

Mission: Yozakura Family (Yozakura-san Chi no Daisakusen) is a manga series written and illustrated by Hitsuji Gondaira.
It follows the protagonist Taiyo Asano and Mutsumi Yozakura who’s the head of an elite spy family. After getting targetted by Mutsumi’s overprotective brother, Taiyo agrees to marry Mutsumi to protect both of them from her brother. This leads Taiyo to become a part of Yozakura family and learning how to become a spy for Mutsumi’s protection and safety.
