Taiyo confronts Momo about what he did to the family. Momo reveals his Blooming to be “Dreams,” – which puts them into a trance of their perfect life, which makes it hard to resist.
Each family member is in a daze of their perfect life and is brainwashed. Taiyo is the only one able to persist because he has Tsubomi’s blood.
Taiyo demands that he return them to normal, but Momo declares they are. Taiyo falls into another dream but realizes it is a memory.
It is then revealed that Momo was the one to rescue Taiyo from the car accident, watched over him, and planned to get him married to Mutsumi from the start. He thought Taiyo was the gust of fresh air needed to break the family’s chains of karma due to his normality.
