Reg tried to stop Faputa from destroying the village in episode 10 of Made in Abyss season 2, titled “All that You Gather.”
It was a heartbreaking, gory, and disturbing episode. The soundtracks were bang on, and Kevin Penkin showed us why he is so reputed in the industry.
The story took major turns, and poor Nanachi had to choose between Mitty and her friends. It wasn’t an easy choice, but she still did what she felt was right. Faputa was in destructive mode and didn’t have any intention of stopping. However, Reg tried his best to stop her, but it looked like it didn’t work.

Episode 11 Speculations
Reg might be able to stop the mayhem in episode 11 of Made in Abyss season 2, titled “Value.” We can’t be sure whether he will be successful or not as it is Made in Abyss we are talking about. Faputa is in no mood of stopping and is ready to kill even Reg.
Things are getting crazier, and we are nearing the end of this arc, there are only two episodes left, and it will be better if we just sit tight and see what happens to the village. Nanachi however, will come back, and it will definitely change the game for Reg as it looks like she knows about Faputa.
I can’t wait for the next episode.
Episode 11 Release Date
Episode 8 of the Made in Abyss season 2 anime, titled “Value”, has been released on Wednesday, Sep 14, 2022.

Episode 10 Recap
Nanachi is worried about the destruction caused by Faputa. We see some flashbacks indicating Nanachi knows about Faputa. Belaf tells her that these are the memories he passed on to Nanachi.
He tells her that he needs to go now. Nanachi is worried about Reg and Riko. Belaf tells her that they are alive and tells her that she can leave if she wants to. However, there is one condition to it.
If she goes, Mitty will disappear. Mitty is a part of the village, and it can’t go beyond that. Nanachi is conflicted, but she decides to move on. As she steps out of the boundary, Mitty starts to disappear. Some fellows who took a liking to Nanachi give her a plating, and they disappear too. Nanachi moves ahead.
Reg wakes up and sees Faputa causing havoc in the village. She destroys everything she lays her eyes on. The residents try to resist, but nothing stops her. Riko is worried that if Faputa isn’t stopped, everything precious to everyone will be destroyed.
Reg decides to step ahead to stop Faputa. He goes to Faputa and tries to talk with her. Nanachi refuses to have any talk, and the scene cuts to a flashback where Faputa is crying for Gabu.
Reg shows up and starts a conversation. The scene cuts to the present time. Faputa attacks Reg and shoves her hand inside Reg, doing internal damage. She leaves him deeply wounded. Reg tells her that she is disgraceful.
We get another flashback where Reg is traveling with Faputa. He tells Faputa that the way she speaks is disgraceful. She is happy to know his name. Reg gives her a symbol of their friendship.
Reg slowly remembers everything, but he cannot stop Faputa as she completely overpowers him. He takes the help of Prushka and transforms, and now he can match up and overpower her.
Iron rain starts suddenly, and everyone is in a state of panic. Wazukyan spreads his tentacles to protect everyone from the rain. In the flashback, Reg is shocked to see Faputa’s mother, and Faputa tells her that she wants to free her mother, but she can’t enter the village.
Reg tells her that he is going out in search of Haku when his search is complete, he will come back and help her. He promises to return and take her with him, starting a new life together. Faputa gains the upper hand and crushes Reg saying he is kind but foolish.
About Made In Abyss
An orphaned girl named Riko lives in the Belchero Orphanage in the town of Orth.
The town surrounds a strange, giant hole going deep into the Earth, which is commonly called the Abyss.
The Abyss harbours artefacts and remnants of a civilization long gone, and is, therefore, the popular hunting spot for so-called Cave Raiders, who undertake arduous and dangerous descents into the mist-filled pit to recover whatever relics they can find.
Some legendary Cave Raiders earn the title of White Whistle, one of them being Riko’s mother, Lyza.
Riko’s longing in life is to follow in her mother’s footsteps and become a White Whistle. One day she discovers a robot resembling a human boy in the Abyss and names him Reg.
Riko and her friends sneak Reg into Belchero and quickly welcome him into their close-knit group.
Sometime later, a balloon reaches the surface from the depths of the Abyss containing pages of discoveries made by Lyza, as well as a message for Riko stating she is waiting at the bottom of the Abyss.
Riko, determined to find her mother, bids farewell to her friends and departs to the Abyss with Reg as her companion.
