Episode 4 Recap
Episode 4 of Lycoris Recoil is titled “Nothing Seek, Nothing Find”. Takina decides to aim for non-vital organs with conventional bullets after proving ineffective with Chisato’s non-lethal bullets.
While Takina was playing a 3D game, Chisato noticed Takina wearing men’s boxers. Chisato decides to take Takina shopping and then to a restaurant and aquarium so that she may get used to her life outside of work.
When Takina questions her, Chisato says that she does not kill intentionally and left the DA to thank someone who helped her ten years ago. She displays a lovely locket that belonged to that person.
Takina learns to love her life outside the DA after spending time with Chisato. Meanwhile, Mika and Yoshi re-convene, and Mika wonder why Yoshi has never confessed that he is the one who entered Chisato into the AI, but Yoshi answers that it is against their rules.
As Takina and Chisato return to LycoReco, a terrorist named Majima opens fire on a metro train, only to be ambushed and killed by a Lycoris squad within. Majima, trapped, blows up the train cars to escape.
Takina and Chisato were unable to investigate the situation since they were not dressed for work. Robota then contacts him and offers his assistance in defeating the Lycoris, but Majima declines.
After the government covers up his attack as a railway derailment, a dissatisfied Majima decides to hit an even bigger target that the government will be unable to cover up.
Mika got a call from Kusunoki, who told him about the guns and the event that Kurumi was looking into earlier. Mizuki caught Chisato trying on Takina’s boxers, and the episode ends with her mocking Chisato for being a double-crosser in the restaurant.
