Loki season 2, episode 4 is a rollercoaster ride filled with time-twisting shenanigans and a riveting climax that leads to the final showdown in the last two episodes.
The last episode ends with Victor Timely getting spaghetti-fied by the power of the Temporal Loom. Is this the end of this variant of Kang? Will new variants rise? 1. Episode 5 Synopsis/Speculation
The Temporal Loom explosion at the end of this week’s episode leaves the fate of everyone hanging. We only see Victor Timely getting shredded by the exponential radiation.
However, the fates of Loki, Sylvie, Ouroboros, and Mobius are still under question. I think Loki and Sylvie survive the blast but are transported to a different timeline where they encounter a new variant of Kang.
Will the variant be hostile or helpful? The answer to this question will be a major turning point in the series.
Meanwhile, Ravonna Renslayer is devastated by the erasure of her memory by He Who Remains and will surely seek revenge from him and his variants.
Moreover, she’ll come for Loki and Sylvie as well because she blames them for literally everything (sigh!)
Finally, in episode 4, we learn that Ouroboros’ source of information about Victor Timely is the TVA guidebook, which he writes in the future.
This is a brilliant paradox of information created in the story and will be a breeding ground for confusion that might come back to bite them at a crucial time.

This week’s episode begins with a flashback of Ravonna Renslayer’s past, where she met He Who Remains. He offered her a chance to rule by his side but ended up betraying and erasing her memories.
At present, Loki and Sylvie team up with Mobius and Hunter B-15 to find Victor Timely, a variant of Kang, and bring him to the TVA.
Victor installs a small device called the Throughput Multiplier that can expand the Temporal Loom’s rings and allow the branching timelines to settle in it.
However, the climax ends in a massive explosion as Victor Timely fails to handle the radiation and gets annihilated by the Temporal Loom’s radiation.
The Fate of the four musketeers is also in question, as we are not shown what happens to them after the explosion.

Loki is an American TV series created by Michael Waldron for Disney+ and Marvel. It is based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name and is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with events of the series taking place after Avengers: Endgame.
Tom Hiddleston reprises his role as Loki along side new faces like Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Sophia Di Martino, Richard E. Grant, Sasha Lane, Eugene Cordero and Erika Coleman.
After stealing the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame, Loki is apprehended by the mysterious Time Variance Authority (TVA) and their Time-Keepers. Loki is given a choice between fixing all the timelines he broke with the Tesseract and death at the hands of the TVA.
