Log Horizon is finally back after 6 whole years and we can’t contain our happiness!
After the announcement of Season 3 to be broadcasted in October 2020, the fans of this beloved series were jumping in excitement but the broadcast was delayed due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
The rescheduled date was fixed to Winter 2021, however, the fans were still quite sceptical of its launch.
Now, the news is certain about the release. Log Horizon Season 3 named “Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table” is scheduled to be released on January 13, 2021, and the voice actors of Shiroe and Akatsuki have confirmed the announcement with a short clip.
The clip contains voice actors Takuma Terashima (Shiroe) and Emiri Kato (Akatsuki) addressing Log Horizon fans and telling them to keep their hopes high for Season 3 of the series coming this January.
They also explain that the fans would be able to see their characters more grown as a person and also experience the new story.
Funimation will be streaming all 12 episodes of Season 3 both in Japanese and English dubbed audio so fans can enjoy the best of both worlds.
Log Horizon: Destruction of the Round Table will be based on Volume 12 of the web novel series where the peace that everyone worked hard for in Akiba is put into jeopardy.
Now the people have no choice but to put their hope in the hands of Shiroe once again to save the day.

Log Horizon is a Japanese novel series written by Mamare Touno and illustrated by Kazuhiro Hara.
It began serialization online in 2010 on the user-generated novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō, being later on acquired by Enterbrain and published as a light novel in Japan since 2011.
The plot is set in a massively multiplayer online role-playing game called Elder Tale.
During the release of the game’s twelfth expansion pack, thirty thousand Japanese gamers were transported to a virtual reality world as their respective characters.
With no way out, Shiroe and his friends team up to form a guild called “Log Horizon” to survive in this challenging world.
