Like clicking pictures? You will love the Long Journey quest in Once Human!

Have you come across a still from Once Human featuring a girl with a jellyfish for head? Yeah, it’s from the Long Journey quest. This is certainly an interesting one, and pretty short too. It’s pretty easy, all you have to do is click pictures and help a distressed girl. At the end, you get to take pictures of a Glass Jellyfish and even one with a Scarecrow. Win-win!

How to begin Long Journey?

Long Journey begins in Iron River, south of Rippleby. The objective of the quest is to find the wind power generator and summon the Glass Jellyfish.

You will find a girl crying on the beach. Upon interacting with her, she will reveal that she is waiting for her dad to come, explaining their plans of exploring and taking pictures. She will then ask you to do it instead.

Once you agree, the Long Journey quest will begin.

How to complete Long Journey?

The first spot you need to hit is the Wind Farm, east of Rippleby. There isn’t anything other than Vultures and a windmill there. You can kill them but that won’t do much.

Open up your inventory, go to the quest menu and click on the notepad icon. Select Aqua Bell and use it to summon the jellyfish whose name is Bella.

Bella will suddenly appear in front of the windmill. She will then ask you to take her picture.

To take the picture:

  • Press tab
  • Open the camera by moving your cursor over the icon
  • Once the camera is open, a box will appear on screen
  • Focus it on Bella until ‘Glass Jellyfish’ pops up above the box
  • Press enter to take the picture

After you have taken Bella’s picture, head off to the next destination. Check your map to see a blue marker. This is where you have to go. Once you arrive at this location, you will see that it is simply a field with a dusty looking scarecrow.

Take another picture of Bella, this time with the scarecrow in-frame.

Bella will now ask you to take her over to Aiden’s Auto Repair Shop.

Here, you actually have to get on the roof. Go to the back and look for containers. Use them to make your way to the roof.

Once on top, summon Bella and take her picture.

There’s only one more location left– a cemetery in Brookham.

Here, you have to find Bella’s father’s gravestone. That’s right, the poor girl’s dad is dead. Interact with the gravestone to read his note for Bella.

Summon Bella once again and she will ask you to take one last picture. However, you can ask her whether her wish has been fulfilled?
