The homeroom teacher announces the next competition, which involves no stars but is still extremely important. However, due to the reputation that Shinohara has built up, the entire school wants to challenge him in a match where they don’t have to give up any stars.

Meanwhile, a new competitor taunts Shinohara into accepting a match with her. A self-obsessed Five Star named Noa seems very attached to Hiroto but also hides many secrets.

1. Episode 5 Speculation

The main villain of this competition will be Noa, considering she is the only new character introduced by name and is also well known across the Academy as a powerful yet seemingly feeble Five Star. Moreover, Shinohara is also assigned to find the missing Unique Star.

The Green Star was likely stolen by Noa since she is the only one introduced so far who could’ve done it. Another problem is Himeji’s involvement in the whole situation, being kidnapped by Noa so quickly and in talks with the President; she is also a vital character in the arc.

3. Recap of Episode 4

Himeji meets with one of the higher-ups at the Academy to investigate Shinohara’s ranking. Despite all his impressive wins, he remains a Two star but is different from everyone else since he holds different colored stars. On the path to an all-colored Seven Star, Shinohara poses both a gift and a threat to the Academy.

Himeji also joins his class and takes a seat after introducing herself to the other classmates. After everyone settles down, the teacher announces the upcoming Eimei Academy traditional campus competition, a single-winner survival battle.

Shinohara and Himeji discuss the rules of the competition; although no stars will be exchanged, it is still essential not to lose. Their conversation is interrupted by a cute girl trying to get Hiroto’s attention. She introduces herself as Noa, a third year at the Academy.

However, everything starts making sense after Noa informs him that he’s among the most popular students for the Campus battle. Shinohara also gets called to the principal’s office and tells him about the unique Green Star stolen from the Academy.

She asks for his help in the upcoming competition to wait until the culprit makes a move, and she wants him to retrieve the Star and win. However, in his attempt to jam others’ requests, Noa sees through his defense and challenges him to a game.

While Shinohara and Himeji start planning their next step in the game, Kaguya herself comes to help them out. She introduces him to a new device that overlaps his location with Himeji, using her as a scapegoat to accept all match requests instead.

While trying to escape from all the other classmates trying to get a match with Shinohara, he runs into Noa. She pins him down and forces him to finally accept a game before running back to safety. Back home, Himeji makes a fancy meal for Shinohara.
