Lapis Re: LiGHTs is an anime that began broadcasting from July 4 and took the genre one step ahead by placing itself in a fantasy setting of a magical world. The anime combines all these genres to give a unique take on the trendy idol subgenre.
Lapis Re: LiGHTs has only aired its first episode as of now and announced that it will have 12 episodes compiled into 3 Blu-ray volumes. The sale of these bundles began yesterday on Animate’s online store.
It stars well-known musicians and divides them into seven idol groups.

Lapis Re: LiGHTs is an anime that will be directed by Hiroyuki Hata at Yokohama Animation Lab. Kasumi Tsuchida.
Lapis Re: LiGHTs is based on a mixed media project that blends the fantasy, magical girl, and idol subgenres. It follows a group of students as they train to become idols in a fantasy world full of magic. Learning at their school “Flora Jogakuin,” they’ll use the powers of music and the magic in their performances to enchant their audience.
