KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! Ep 10: Release Date, Speculation, Watch Online

Megumin defeated Arnes in episode 9 of KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! titled “Destroyer from the Crimson Demon Village.”

Yunyun and Megumin got attacked by different monsters back-to-back. Yunyun took care of them all while Megumin just stood there doing nothing. They also discussed forming a party. 

Yunyun wants Megumin to join her party, but Megumin is not ready for that. Arnes shows up with the same motive of taking Wolbach back, but Megumin defeats her in an epic showdown.

1. Episode 10 Speculations

Megumin and Yunyun will begin their adventure in Axel in episode 10 of KONOSUBA: Sekai ni Bakuen wo! Titled “Outlaws of the Town for Beginners.”

They will meet some new characters and try to befriend some. It will be tough for them to get some companions, and they will have to go through a lot of chaos and maybe some unwanted quests. 

I think the episode will be mostly random, with the characters just trying to do something without actually doing something. The anime has already wasted a lot of episodes doing this, but I still hope to get some good development.

3. Episode 9 Recap

Megumin and Yunyun head for Axel. They interact with a woman who is traveling with her daughter. While talking, their cart suddenly comes to a halt as giant monsters attack them. 

Knowing that they are from Crimson Village, some men ask for their help. Megumin gets fired up as they call her master. However, when they get down, they are left in utter shock by the size of the monster. 

They both get scared and are reluctant to do anything. Yunyun somehow kills one of the monsters, but more of them come out of the ground and surround them.  

It is already night, and they are enjoying food. Other people thank Yunyun for her amazing magic and tell her to claim herself to be the top spell caster in the entire village. 

Megumin gets somewhat jealous. Later, Yunyun and Megumin talk with each other. Yunyun tells Megumin that she is feeling confident after being helpful to others. 

Suddenly, dozens of giant bats attack them, and again Yunyun saves the day. Two men get eager to join her party. They also get annoyed by Megumin not doing anything. 

Before Yunyun can put in a proposal for Megumin to join her party, Megumin leaves. The next morning, they are attacked by goblins. After dealing with them, Yunyun is completely exhausted, while Megumin just stands around passing comments. 

Arnes shows up, determined to take Wolbach back with her. Megumin throws Chomusuke high up in the sky. Arnes goes to catch it. Megumin prepares to fire at them, but Yunyun stops her from killing Chomusuke. 

Arnes prepares a giant dark ball of magic to destroy the duo. She gets more agitated when she learns that Megumin is the daughter of the couple who sold her the nasty hand bracelet. 

Yunyun starts praying to all the gods she can remember. They all see a large light ray coming from above. Chomusuke bites Arnes’s hands, causing her to lose her grip. Yunyun catches it. 

Megumin begins forming a ball of explosion magic and fires it at Arnes. Their magic collides, but Megumin ultimately overwhelms Arnes and destroys her. 

The people they are traveling with are super impressed by Megumin. They finally reach Axel. 

4. About KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World!

KonoSuba: An Explosion on This Wonderful World! is a spinoff light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and illustrated by Kurone Mishima. The series was launched in July 2014 and ended in June 2015. It has also inspired several manga series.

The story follows the character Megumin from the original KonoSuba series who only knows Explosion Magic. She decides to hone her only skill and become the greatest magician.
