Netflix has not announced the release date for Knives Out 2 yet. According to Deadline, production is set to begin on June 28, 2021, in Greece.

Rian Johnson is back to write and direct the sequels. Daniel Craig will be returning as Benoit Blanc, along with a new ensemble that includes Kathryn Hahn, Dave Bautista, Janelle Monae, Leslie Odom Jr., Edward Norton, and Kate Hudson.

A recent post by the Greek Consulate in New York City via Instagram shows that Daniel Craig recently visited to obtain a visa for Greece ahead of filming.

The Thromby family will not be returning for the sequel. Jamie Lee Curtis took to Instagram to announce this news when the sequel was confirmed.

Netflix has neither shared the trailer nor the plot synopsis for the film. Plot details are unknown except that Craig is back as Benoit Blanc, which means there will be a mind-boggling mystery case that needs solving.
