5. Chapter 706 Recap
Ryuhaku and Kohaku have 300 cavalries each. Remnants of Kochou’s army. They rally the soldiers to defeat Denrimi. They do not wish to come back to the castle alive. They vow to fight till the death.
Shun Sui Ju says he won’t allow this suicide mission, and Kohaku says he has no intention of listening. He nonetheless wishes Kohaku luck.
The Hi Shin unit sees the soldiers rush out of the castle, and Ten says this can’t be good. They’re heading for Denrimi. Shin asks if the doors closed behind them, and Ten answers yes, Kochou’s soldiers have no intention of returning alive.
Denrimi asks his soldiers to stand their ground since it’s too late to retreat. Ousen tries to stop the Zhao army, but they march on. Ousen army successfully attacks the Zhao army, and Shun Sui Ju sees that the attack on Denrimi has failed.
We see a flashback where Shun Sui Ju tells Kohaku and Ryuhaku that if the attack on Denrimi fails, they should take out Kanki straight away.
Koharu tells what’s left of his cavalry to retreat and flank Ryuhaku’s men as rear guard. The Ousen army tries to stop them to no avail. As they get close, the Hi Shin Unit stands in their way.
