I. The Attack Failure
Chapter 655 started with General Bakai getting beheaded by Genu, and Junei has to provide manpower to the left flank to keep Genu engaged. Ranbihaku rushed forward to help the Wei army but was obstructed by Sentoun.
Even though Roukomi joined in the clash, Sentoun held them back on his own. Meanwhile, Kouyoku suddenly took it upon himself to attack Tou.
Seeing that the war on both sides had reached a stalemate, Gohoumei decided to switch tactics.
II. Freeing up the Qin Army
He sent instructions to Rokuomi and Ranbihaku via messengers and commanded Ranbihaku to leave the area. The plan was to make Rokuomi make a defense wall for the Ranbihaku army to escape and assist Tou and Moubu army.
Since Manu and Kouyoku stalled the Qin offense, Goumei freed up Qin’s side with the support of Ranbihaku to destroy the forces that were keeping the pincer down.
