Kindred Spirits is coming back with a new season in the new year. The fifth season of the paranormal reality show on Travel Channel will kick off in January 2021 with a ten-episode storyline. The first season of the show premiered in 2016 to a fairly positive reaction and the following three seasons have maintained the popularity.
Kindred Spirits follows a team of paranormal investigators who travel to haunted places in America, mostly residences, to see if the haunting is related to the family living there. The team then dives into a complete background check of the destination and finds the best possible way to get rid of the paranormal presence and give the families back their homes.
Supernatural investigators Amy Bruni and Adam Berry, who recently appeared on Ghost Nation: Reunion in Hell on Halloween are returning as hosts of Kindred Spirits in the fifth season. Chip Coffey, who joined them as a psychic medium in season four, is also set to appear in season five along with Bruni and Berry.
In season five, the team will go back to Salem, Massachusetts to the John Proctor House. John Proctor was well known for being executed during the Salem Witch Trials.
They had previously visited the same location and had created a gateway with powerful magic to contact those who had been executed in the trials. In the new season, they will investigate the ones who come out of it.
Season five of Kindred Spirits will premiere on January 2nd, 2021 on Travel Channel.
