In the hopes of sorting things out, Kaguya ruined her friends’ plan and now she is on the run to save the will from her brother Unyo.
It seems like talking about her own wish and passion didn’t sit well with her brothers and now it has landed her into trouble. The worst of it all was that Shinomiya was absent in this episode as well. God knows what he is doing and when he will arrive.

We thought Shirogane would be back in this chapter with a way to get Kaguya out of this situation but he was absent in this episode as well. We can’t be sure whether he will be there in the next chapter or will make a grand entrance by the end of it.

5. Chapter 259 Recap
Oko calls his brother a snake for siding with the kids but Unyo tells him that he didn’t know anything about all this and he just went away with what all the kids planned.
Oko blames Kaguya for not being obedient and ruining everything and this was all Unyo’s fault for teaching her all that. Unyo agrees with him saying that she too is a part of the Shinomiya family so it is obvious for her to be scheming, deceptive, and arrogant just like him.
Kaguya disagrees with him telling him that she will resent him until she dies but she still feels grateful towards him for teaching her how to think for herself and stuff like that.
He tells her to talk things out with Oko and there is no need for resorting to violence. Miko agrees with it saying that tearing apart the familial bonds will not end the rift between the Shijos and Shinomiyas. So they should talk and settle things with each other.
Oko tries to convince Kaguya to do what he says, otherwise, they are going to face great consequences as there are 4000 companies under the Shinomiyas with more than 900,000 employees. If she does whatever she wants it will endanger all those companies and employees.
Kaguya is ready to do whatever is good for the company but refuses to follow Oko, she tells him about what she really wants and that is she wants to be a photographer. She wants to live her own life with freedom and can restore relations with the Shijo family only if he trusts her.
She has no problem with him becoming the head but she only wants her freedom and all her friends’ safety. Unyo interferes with the point that he has nothing in it for him if she just gives away the will to him and tells his men to take the will from her.
So now Kaguya is on the run to save the will from Unyo.
