‘Kaguya-sama: Love is War’ Incites Fan Speculation with New Anime Project

Kaguya-sama: Love is War season 3 just ended its run with episode 12. The whole season built up to the one-hour-long finale, and I don’t think anyone is disappointed with the climax.

The focus on Miyuki instead of Kaguya was refreshing as I learned a lot more about the character. I’m also glad that the episode didn’t end with a severe cliffhanger and chose to
actually put the build-up to use.

After Kaguya-sama’s third season ended this Friday, the franchise announced another upcoming anime project. Now, whether this project is season 4 of the anime, a new movie,
or a completely different spinoff is not known just yet.

Fans are speculating that a fourth season is on its way. If the project follows the plot directly after season 3’s ending then it will adapt the “First Kiss Never Ends” arc.

Season 3 already covered the legendary “Rap Arc” and “Dual Confessions Arc” and my patience is running out to see the next steps of this ultra-smart duo.

Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is a Japanese seinen manga series written and illustrated by Aka Akasaka. It began serialization in Shueisha’s Miracle Jump in May 2015 and was transferred to Weekly Young Jump in March 2016.

Student council president Miyuki Shirogane and vice-president Kaguya Shinomiya appear to be the perfect couple. Still, both are too proud to confess their love and scheme to make the other confess their love first.
